What this covers

How the Khwan marketing website handles personal data, and — in plain language — what the hosted product stores on your behalf. The hosted product (dashboard and API) is also governed by the product terms provided at sign-up; where the two differ, the product terms are the binding ones.

What we collect on this site

Only what you type into the contact form: your email (required), and optionally your name, company, the topic you select, and your message. We use it solely to reply to your enquiry.

This marketing site sets no advertising or tracking cookies and runs no third-party analytics. Your visit isn't profiled.

What the product stores

Khwan is memory, so storing your text is the job rather than a side effect. For each turn you record, a brain holds the input you sent, the context Khwan assembled for it, and the answer you chose to record — plus the standing rules the nightly pass distils from them. That is the whole of it, and it is per-brain: a brain is isolated from every other brain on the account.

Retention is by plan and it is the same number you see on the pricing page: 30 days on Free, 6 months on Starter, 18 months on Pro. Past that, stored turns age out.

The nightly synthesis pass uses a third-party model provider. Khwan's read and write paths make no model calls at all, but the scheduled pass that turns stored turns into standing rules is an inference job, and it sends that brain's stored turns to a model provider to run. If that matters for your data, it should decide whether you use the hosted product.

An API key is an admin credential, not a scoped one. A key can read and delete the brains on its account, and a deleted brain is not recoverable. Treat it like a password, and think twice before pasting one into a third-party host.

Your model & data

Khwan is a memory layer that never runs your model. It does not receive your model provider keys through this website, and it does not sell personal data.
